What you can expect at the Datencafé

The opportunities for data-driven research are advancing fast. In addition to new technologies and tools, practices of collecting, data standards and ways for making collections data available are changing. Whether you are working on a seminar project, a final thesis or a wider research project, the team of the Stabi Lab is here to support you:

  • Collecting and preparing data
  • Analyzing and interpreting data
  • Visualizing data
  • Digital editions
  • Applying DH-tools and methods sensibly
  • Data ethics and data standards

Hands-on input sessions introduce attendees to methods and tools for working with digital collections data. In 30-minute session, attendees will gain practical insights into current developments in the digital humanities and experimental work with collections data by subject experts. Everyone is invited to try and test methods and tools for their own project following the input sessions.

  • Research journals and literature in digital scholarship
