Open Science aims to make scientific processes and research results accessible to everyone and to promote a more open, transparent, and participatory scientific culture.

The Stabi has been active in the field of Citizen Science projects for some time. We invite citizens to actively participate in scientific research projects and provide the framework for doing so. As a team of volunteers, librarians, and citizen scientists, we want to work together: for example, in collecting and providing data, as well as analyzing and interpreting it. In this way, citizens can play an active role in generating knowledge.
