New Article on Crowdsourcing for Cultural Heritage Data published
Stabi Lab is a collaborative space offering users opportunities to work productively with data in participatory events and to generate new research data themselves. The results of these transcription and annotation projects on historical sources from the Berlin State Library’s holdings are in turn published under free licenses for future reuse in research. This article presents four pilot projects, ranging from joint seminars to citizen science workshops, and discusses their technical and organisational implications.
