Frauen* im Fokus is an open Citizen Science project organized by Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin – Preußischer Kulturbesitz and Universität Potsdam. It takes place from 25th October 2023 till 17th February 2024.

Participation is possible for everyone who is interested in reading historical German handwritten texts and in exploring the Women’s Rights movement in Germany in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

During the project we create transcriptions of letters written by the protagonists of the Women’s Rights movement and discuss their printed works in a book club.
